Storyโdriven video games are awesome because they let you live a narrative instead of just watching one. They pull you into worlds where your choices matter, your actions shape the plot, and you feel genuinely connected to the characters you meet along the way. A great story game doesnโt just entertain โ It immerses, surprises, and gives you moments you remember long after you stop playing.
A couple of fan favorite games:
No:1 UNDERTALE – A 32-bit game that has very unique gameplay, the story starts out with Frisk (the main character and parson we play as) climbing a mountain and falling into the Underground where monsters live. there are 3 routs the player can take, these include: The True Pacifist – Where the player spares every single monster they come across, The Neutral rout where the player kills and spares, And the genocide rout, where the player has to kill every single monster in every single map, all of these endings change the game significantly and effects the game a lot that’s what makes it so unique.
No:2 Deltarune – A parallel story to Undertale where instead of the monsters being underground, they live in peace with humans. the story takes place in a small little town with the main character (and person we play as) Kris, Kris is a kid who goes to school and makes a new friend Susie and when they go in to the back closet to get more chalk for their teacher (dr alphis) They end up in a different world named the Dark world they learn of a prophecy through their new friend Ralsai Kris, Susie, And Ralsai must seal all the dark fountains so the dark world does not take over the light world (Kris and Susie’s home)
